About this app

“How Long Will You Live?” Why? Are you interested in how long you are going to live? This simple test, called the Sit-Rise Test or Sitting-Rising Test (SRT for short), which you can perform just about anywhere, has been proven to predict how long you'll live. A Brazilian physician Claudio Gil Araújo invented SRT to quickly assess the balance, flexibility and muscle strength of their patients, and he's proven it can predict your risk of dying in the next five years.

In 2012, a study was released by Professor Araújo et al. that showed a clear correlation between the SRT score and how long people will live. The results may be surprising.

People who scored in the lowest range (scores from 0 to 3) had a 5 ~ 6 times higher chance of dying in the period of the study than those in the highest range (scores of 8 to 10). For further details, you can have a look at these links:
