Update2. Please remove the requirement to access contacts. Permission is unnecessary & intrusive. App won't work w/o the access. Updated review. After reinstalling the app I was finally able to get to the login screen. Tried to log in and got a message that my email doesn't exist. I've been using this app for years so how is that possible?? I'm so disappointed. An update shouldn't cause so many problems. How were all the problems so many of us are having not identified and fixed during testing?

As with many others, not happy with new version. I'm aware you're fixing bugs, but why did you roll out the update without some lengthy beta testing to begin with? Do you realize how frustrating it was to be in the middle of nowhere and have to sign in to the app - which I couldn't do because I don't carry my password book with me? I ended up having to create a new account. Stationary alert went off when it shouldn't have. I couldn't add an email contact. And now the app won't even open.

I used to love this app. I ride horses and it is great to have ecrumb for my contacts. But- the stationary alert activates too soon and try manipulating an app on a fractious horse that also just got spooked by the alert. There should be an icon for horse riders and we could use a one button pause ability to stop alerts and ecrumb. If not why not just design a horse app there are thousands of us riders who need one that matches our specific needs! I don't like the reboot very much at all.

Useless to me now. We have no cell service where we live so I used the email option. That option is not available any more. The older version wasn't perfect. The map showed my route fine on my phone as I was riding but what was sent to husband would have straight lines from areas that must not have had service. They would show me riding through buildings, rivers or fences. Will have to find something new.

I don't get why these companies take perfectly good, working apps, completely re-work them into non-functional garbage, and release them?? Seriously, what was wrong with the previous app? Like EVERY review recently, I've been using Road iD app, for years so my wife can track me riding for peace of mind. New update hasn't been sending out notifications to her. Tried testing it myself and troubleshooting, nothing. The old app worked perfectly. New one seems to be stripped of other functions too

I would suggest taking down this version and bring back the previous one. Ive attempted to update it as suggested in the email and nothing has changed. Milage and time are still way off. My history has not been updated and the graphics are terrible.
