This app allows me to see the world in the eyes of a dichromat, or to activate an aid, and help a dichromat see the differences between similar-looking colors. Or both: see how the aid would appear to a dichromat. However, the controls don't give feedback to let you know what settings are currently in use. Would be nice to be able to select either front or rear camera (it uses the rear camera on my LG G2) All in all, it's a great, free little app.

As titled, can't change which camera the app uses. I already know the colors of my face. Edit: App has been changed to fix my problem. Thats pretty cool. Second request: Can you make an option to switch colors rather than just blank one of them out. I work with a lot of scientific images and often switch them with imagej from rgb to gbr. If this could happen live, it would make it much easier for me to work.

This app is great to help show others how I see with my colorblindness!

My previous comment "Not quite useful for colour weak/blind person." Nice to get a response from the developer on this. This is not an easy task. How about let the colour blind/weak user to touch the highlighted item and the app then shows the rgb value of that item and its colour name for the users reference?

Excellent idea. Works on droid-x again. A little laggy, but better than the first version. Not responsive enough to walk down street with it.

About this app

Colorblind Augmented Reality App to help designers and color deficient people with six color blindness modes.

Design:
Designers can simulate Color Deficiencies to see what a color deficient person would see when looking at interior designs, website designs, or game designs.

When used in design systems the user will be able to see exactly what their designs are preventing colorblind users from seeing. When they see that indistinctness they will easily be able to change the color scheme of their website or game to one that is distinguishable between users

Games can be the hardest to determine what a colorblind user cannot see because of action. Enliven is in real time

Color Blind
Use textures to easily see colors that are difficult to differentiate. By selecting a color that is easily visible to the colorblind user, the augmented reality application uses a special algorithm to show the colorblind user what they are missing. This will then let them make better decisions when using systems that are different color
