Good app. Easy to use. Unobtrusive Ads. The ads are so unobtrusive that I ended up paying to have them removed. Most apps of this type have large pop up ads. This one does it right so I paid for it. Also, most fasting apps are subscription based. Again a big no-no as it makes them too expensive. This app works without any problems and also charts weight loss and othet items..

I loved this app, no more. The last several weeks, it hasn't worked at all. When I open the app, the little working symbol just goes round and round. Can't even open the menu. I uninstalled and reinstalled, didn't solve the issue. Very frustrating.

Used to be great. I liked this app for its notifications and automatic schedule. But for at least the last 6 months, the notofications don't work. I've emailed more than once with no response and no fix. I've uninstalled, reinstalled. Ive checked all phone and app settings and nothing. Time to.move.on to a new app.

Trying out different fasting timers and this one may be the one I continue with. This one, like all others I have looked at to date, focus on the fasting time period rather than the eating time period. I am more concerned of being reminded an hour before my 'eating' period Is over. With this one I simply use the fasting timer feature which nicely allows a 6 hour period I want. I just pretend the fasting period is my eating period. It also has a nice widget that I can quickly reference.

I downloaded 2 different IF apps. This one is more intuitive than the other, which also had really good reviews. I like the scheduler because it is easy to adjust based on my schedule week to week. Also, the days just go from fasting to eating time on it's own. Very good app!!

The infinite loading screen seems to gone (finally after ~6 months...), but now the notifications are now gone too, again. Every setting triple checked. As an IT expert i got 143 apps, only this behaves this way...

Fasting Made Simple
What usually comes to mind when most people hear of Intermittent Fasting (IF), is that it is just another crazy fad diet to lose weight with little effort. However, it isn't a diet at all, but rather an eating pattern. It’s not what you eat, but when you eat it that is important.
Depending on what type of fasting you schedule, you generally will have a time window where you are allowed to eat all the food you want. As soon as that window is over though, you don't eat ANYTHING until the window comes up again. For example, a common approach is a 16 hour fast with an 8 hour eating window every day.

There are dozens of different type of fasting diets, you can utilize any plan such as:
• 16/8 - Lean Gains
• 5:2 - Eat normal for 5 days, and IF the remaining 2
• 20/4 – The Warriot Diet
• 24/0 – Full Day , or even a water & juice fast
• Alternative Day Diet - (every other day you will be fasting for 24 hours.)
• Any other fasting plan you can think of is possible

Intermittent Fasting Benefits
★ Weight loss, specifically from fat reserves
★ Reduced risks of diseases such as cancer, heart disease, and Alzheimer’s
★ Longer lifespans due to processes such as autophagy which repair and recycle cells
★ Reduced inflammation and insulin resistance
★ Increased growth hormone

MyFast goes great when paired with the ketogenic diet. If you are interested in combining the keto diet with intermittent fasting, you can use our keto tracking app MyKeto.
