* De reconnaitre l’inconscience d’une victime, d’assurer la liberté des voies aériennes LVA, d’apprécier sa respiration, les signes de circulation et de réaliser les gestes de secours qu’impose son état, pour sa survie.
* D’observer une victime qui se plaint, de lui poser des questions essentielles, de l’installer en position d’attente pour éviter une aggravation, de recourir si nécessaire à un conseil médical et de respecter les recommandations des secours.
