This is for ONLY 8000 Brush. I have the Oral B Pro 6000 from Costco. The 6000 brush will NOT work in this app. This app was the only Oral B toothbrush app for my tablet. Spent HOURS failing to get it to complete the initial setup. Then I downloaded the "Oral B" app to my phone (literally named "Oral B" not the this longer named app here). That Oral B app INSTANTLY connected & setup was done for my 6000 brush. *DON'T do a Bluetooth pairing, just leave BT on, & brush/app connects on its own.

The app connects the device to Alexa. However, the integration is poor and the device keeps losing internet connection so the Alexa capabilities don't work. Wish the device connected directly with Alexa through the Alexa app instead because you can't customize the device settings as much through the Oral-b app. Settings like language, selecting which account to register to, etc.

So to be clear, this is a new app, that doesn't work for any of Oral B's electric toothbrushes currently listed on their site? Only for some brush that's advertised for purchase, through the app, once installed? Just wanted to be clear. Because it doesn't seem to work with any of the three Oral B "smart" connected brushes I now have, including the "Genius."
