The inbuilt recipes rely fairly heavily on pea protein powder - a fairly horrible tasting ingredient. It also is seemingly impossible to track a portion 'after' you have left the recipe. So - if you make a smoothie, track a portion of it and put the rest in your fridge - you're entirely unable to track it at a later point. This is a huge oversight of something exceedingly simple. The search function for recipes are also a tad basic, and it doesn't track more than 4 minerals/vitamins. Shame.

Used the app a few times and works ok once used to using it. It would be great if you could enter recipes from a pc and also upload to fitness tracking apps.

Pretty outdated for all the marketing hype. It works, but text entry and most other configuration is so outdated. The US version of the app appears more updated.

Balance works but has 2 flaws. 1. You cannot download recipes to the app. This includes not being able to download additional recipes from the nutribullet website. This means you have to manually add stuff. What a pain. Ok so you can use the balance feature to manually create the recipe but what a waste of time if they already have it written down. 2. This app does not connect with Fitbit or other apps. So it's no good as part of a wider calorie counting / fitness exercise

Love the balance app. So much better than my bullet Pro. There are so many recipes and so many different ways to filter them on ingredients or conditions. Two things I would love to see are an A to Z list of ingredients with their descriptions instead of just in recipes. Next I would love to be able to swipe left or right to go through recipes in recipe View instead of going back and then remembering where I was.

Very poorly designed app. First daily calories doesn't track properly, it seems to count calories from the blender in the last 24h rather that resetting at midnight which would be the sensible thing. Would also be nice to have a feature to add other meals consumed to the count. It is nice that you can add other ingriedients to the ingriedient list with their nutrition info so if you are using powders then you can still count them. Ive only tried a few of the recipes but they were foul.
