I've been using the Nike app for 10+ years, and I tried this one because I'm a fan and to change things a bit. And it worked! I did way below the time i was aiming for (7 minutes faster) and without noticing until I looked at the numbers. No injuries. It did follow my progress even the free version. I use my Garmin and the Nike app to track (and audio guided runs) and follow the plan every day from this app. I truly recommend giving a try. bonus: the tips and knowledge from Hal's experience!

This training program is absolutely fantastic. I have followed Hal's static plans in the past, but the flexibility that this app offers knocks it out if the park. I almost feel guilty using the free tier of this app. I can definitely see me subscribing down the road. This app is so easy to use and extremely useful to the hobbyist runner. Plus the integration with Garmin is very slick. I am confident that my current training is going to be a marathon pr. Bravo to Hal and his team, well done!!

I bought the Hal+ yearly subscription but those features have not worked for some time. I have been corresponding with customer service for a week now, and they still have not fixed this. First, they thought it was because I needed to "restore purchase," which I tried a dozen or more times, and still I do not have my features. Then they had me check my credit cards on Play to make sure they were current, they were and still I do not have the Hal+ features. I installed the app on my iPhone which they did not know somehow and now cite as the reason the Hal+ features do not work, but they did not fix it. I removed the app from my iPhone, reinstalled it again on my Android but still I do not have the Hal+ features. To their credit they tried to give me another yearly subscription hoping it would work, but it did not. Still hoping this gets resolved.

This is a great training app, feels intuitive and easy to follow. Been using the free version to train for a race with my 6 year old, his first one. Would be happy to pay for more advanced programmes.

App doesn't work! Downloaded it and picked my plan but no workouts appeared. I tried changing the plan but the app didnt load anything, just kept circling around and around. I just bought a new pixel 4a so it isn't my phone being dodgy. Very disappointing because I was looking forward to following Hal's plan this summer!

I loved the app. It's great motivation. I loved having a plan developed for me. The feedback the app gives is great. The advice on pace and mindset and dealing with adversity is amazing. Even though it's an app, I felt like Hal cared about my training.
