This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing PeakDay Fertility Tracker on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. I used CycleProGo (the previous version of PeakDay) for years with no issues. I had high hopes for PeakDay. It looks nice and is intuitive to use. However, in the months since PeakDay came out, there have been regular outages (sometimes multiple times in one week). They do get resolved and my data is restored, usually within a day; but I want a reliable app that always opens every morning. Unfortunately, I will not be renewing my subscription.

This app replaced the CycleGoPro app. In the years I used CycleGoPro, I can't think of a time I had an issue entering my data. Since the switch, I have had repeated issues entering data to where I am considering returning to paper charting for the first time in about 5 years because my charts are so incomplete. I need to try to keep intermittent paper records to accommodate the app errors, which defeats the purpose! PLUS, PeakDay costs almost twice as much as the old app which actually worked!

Love this app and that it is so easy to use. It is easy to identify the 3 phases and is so user friendly. If you don't remember the rules for phases, it helps to identify them and break them down. I love how it can be linked to my husband's phone as well. I just need to figure out postpartum and looking back as I'm sure there is a way to look back at the whole cycle/ chart, but it only shows so many days. I would recommend this app to anyone wanting an easy, effective way to chart!

I love that this app has so many…applications. Women/couples in a variety of situations can customize it. I could see it being useful for a family, too: moms and daughters using the same app, parents using it as a tool for informed fertility-related conversations with teens, etc. I promote NFP and fertility awareness, and this will really come in handy for sharing just how easy it can be to take charge of your fertility in a healthy and modern way. Hoping version 2.0 fixes technical snafu's.

It's a great app design, but it is missing an essential feature of the original app: brief reviewing of the CCL fertility rules. This is much more expensive than what it used to be. I pay $35 a year for the CycleProGo app. This new app costs $59.99 a year, which is almost double what I have been paying. This app has all the features of the old app with some features taken away, and the app is very unreliable and doesn't connect most of the time. I might have to start paper charting instead.

I thought this app would be an upgrade from cyclegopro, but it has been very unreliable. Half the time I can't even open the app because it gives me a network error message(and I have tried it on multiple phones). Or as I try to input data it says something went wrong and to try again later. At this point I will probably just paper chart as the app has proved to be completely unreliable so far. We want to seriously practice NFP and I find this app to be a hindrance not a help.
