Using BlueStacks

I have problem with my ehteraz app since i've arrived in doha. The color didnt changed even after I've finished quarantine. And when I call their hotline, they always tell me to wait for their call which they never did after several days of waiting. I've tried doing the steps they told me to do, but it still didn't worked for me til I've reached the maximum number of activation and used 2 sim cards. This is frustrating. I need to go to work but I can't because of this. Kindly get back to me asap

I just updated my app as per instructions from the customer care.. I tried logging in.. They sent me otp and then rejected it and now my app is blocked saying I have exceeded number or tries.. All I did was try it once.. It's been 2 days.. I am still waiting for their call.. Because whenever I call customer care they say I have to wait for a call back :( pleaaassseeeee help.

The new update SO ugly it's become yellow color, it's also confusing,, they should be make,Gold color NOT YELLOW COLOR,, why they changed the Gold color, that's more nice design& elegant looks,, the Gold color fully vaccination WITH THE STAMP IN IT,and now become yellow color,it's SO ugly, i feel like i don't want showed MY Ehteraz,because they, changed the design. =( :(, i hope they make more better,

Same problem the previous version was showing a stamp that I am vaccinated but this one is showing that the stamp will appear after 7 days of 2nd dose whereas I completed my vaccine course last month. When I contacted 109 they were busy, I sent email, they told me to update my status on moph. How should I.

It's a good app to stay safe and informed. I appreciate being warned when I'm with someone who's a carrier and hope they will be tracked to make sure they are being quarantined but the need to access private & personal data and information such gallery and contacts is a concern for many users.

Too many issue encountered and very slow response from tech support. Takes much battery life. Now it locked me out saying too many attempts so now I cannot access my etheraz and I was told to wait until tech support will have time. Bad resolution response time. Hope it improves.

About this app

EHTERAZ is the official contact tracing application for the State of Qatar and is owned, operated, and approved by the Ministry of Public Health.
ETHERAZ aims to protect and safeguard the health of citizens, residents, and visitors in the State of Qatar to support the national effort in preventing and reducing the spread of COVID-19.
ETHERAZ has been developed to:
1) Provide alerts or notifications when members of the public are exposed to a suspected, infected, or confined person through prompt, accurate, digital contact tracing.
2) Provide a visual QR code showing infection and/or vaccine status (when available) to other individuals for safe interaction with the wider community.
3) Identify locations with high infection rates in order for the relevant authorities to provide prompt action to prevent further spread and higher risk exposure to members of the public.
4) Provide official announcements on health, social distancing, containment efforts, and up to date COVID-19 statistics.
The Ministry of Public Health wants all users of the application to feel safe when using ETHERAZ and is committed to maintaining each individual’s privacy and confidentiality by using only the necessary minimum amount of information, personal data, and device permissions required to function and protect the citizens and residents of the State of Qatar.
EHTERAZ requires permission to use:
• Bluetooth signals for the exchange of anonymized IDs with devices in close proximity that also have EHTERAZ installed. This information is used for contact tracing to alert individuals who are at risk of infection.
• Background location services to always know where the device is, in order to better identify areas with a high infection rate and take prompt action to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
- Permission to write to the file system - required to allow storage of a small, encrypted file which holds a unique ID, QR code, infection status, configuration parameters, and proximity data of other devices using the Application
• Local device storage when not connected to the internet to hold contact and location information until the user is back online.
ETHERAZ is for the benefit of all of us. Working together we can keep our neighbors, our colleagues, our friends, and our families safe.

Contact Tracing in EHTERAZ APP

When two registered users come within Bluetooth range of each other, their EHTERAZ Apps will automatically exchange anonymized ID with devices in close proximity. This information is used for contact tracing to alert individuals who are at risk of infection.

Allows an app to access approximate location.
Allows an app to access precise location.
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows access to the vibrator.
Allows an app to create windows using the type TYPE_APPLICATION_OVERLAY, shown on top of all other apps.
Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.
