Most information is not presented via the app, rather the app is comprised of mostly links to websites. Strangely, my previous review was removed.

I literally can't log into this app because it doesn't think that I'm currently a student. I want the damn COVID Vaccine, but I can't get it without my policy number, my policy number isn't in my student health portal because that'd be too convenient, instead I'm stuck trying to figure out why I can't use my god damn app to get my PDF of my health insurance information.

Like others have said before me, I firmly oppose the idea of an online ONLY insurance card. The app is unreliable and honestly just makes things more difficult. It seems to me it fails at several of its main functions: Function 1: View benefits and insurance information Congratulations. All you've done is give me links to Anthem and Delta's websites...where I have to sign in. Again. Utterly pointless. I will give you that I can view my insurance cards...in the app. The PDF download is faulty. That seems like a pretty simple and vital thing that should be working ALWAYS. Function 2: View Balances Haven't managed to link this app yet to Anthem. Keeps giving me an error. Did anyone actually debug this thing before launch? Function 3: Find providers Again, just linking to websites. What's the point? I can almost smell the push from administration to have an app just to say "we have an app!" without bothering to sit down and actually think about its usability.

Just downloaded it and gave it a test run. I was able to access all my cards and ID numbers. The only thing as of now that didnt work was the webpages that i was directed to. Maybe they were bad links? Maybe it was the websites own error instead? I plan on updating the review when i actually use it for a doc appointment.

The most useless waste-of-space app, all to download a PDF. Imagine: you're in the ER, you need your ID. To get it? Find email, visit the site, make profile, set 14+ character password, type it again, get a confirmation email, log in, (website is broken), download stupid app (without Wi-Fi) let it clog up storage space, type 14 character password, all to... download a PDF with 4 lines of info. Just email us that info, the million extra steps (and app, and website) are so unnecessary.

This is a really lazily designed app. If you want to learn basically anything about your health insurance - your benefits, or to find a doctor, the app dumps you on the anthem website, forcing you to sign in (again) and navigate through the anthem site to potentially find what you're looking for. If you can, get a physical card and ditch the app.
