This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing RespTools on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.

Great app, I can see this being helpful to both students and those of us who have been in the field for a few years and would like a brush up. I would like to see this app let me use my phones not physical back button vs the apps built in back to menu button.

The text has a line problem on my screen. It overlaps, which often makes it impossible to select a field to find a value.

About this app

Tools for those in Respiratory field. These tools include thirty (30) formulas / equations that you can input pt data. Value carry over from formula to formula to work up a pt.. Until you clear the data. Screens full of norms. from blood gases to pulmonary functions. Quick data of respiratory pharmaceuticals, tools for Neo-Peds, and respiratory equipment.
In the Formulas / Equations, data generated by one will populate all Formulas / Equations that call that variable. Meaning, when the FiO2 is added to one equation, all equations that ask FiO2 will have that value. Until you clear it...This allows a Therapist to work up data on a patient easier. When you first use the app, it is auto-populated by the number '42'. Google it.. :)
