This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Medichec on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

Use Medichec to find out if commonly prescribed medicines could be contributing to, or causing memory problems.

Medichec has been designed as an accurate, easy to use tool, to score the anticholinergic effect of widely used medications in healthcare.

Medichec is based on the latest research and up to date scientific information and has been created by senior clinicians and academics in collaboration with healthcare app design experts. Medichec is already used in London teaching hospitals to improve quality of patient care and is recommended in a number of policies and guidelines.

The anticholinergic effects of medications are increasingly recognised as an important factor in cognitive impairment. The 2018 NICE dementia guidelines recommends medication is assessed for anticholinergic effects to limit iatrogenic cognitive impairment.
