Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Respiro on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

About this app

Respiro helps you to slow your breathing rate as you drop off to sleep. Using any phone, you project a circle of light on to the ceiling, which will grow and shrink in time with your breath. Close your eyes and let the gentle light provide gentle cues to the brain for gradually slowing your breathing. Respiro is designed to mimic a natural breathing pattern to allow you to move from regular breathing to slow breathing for sleep.

You can set how long you want to run for, and a start and end breathing rate, and the app will do the rest, lowering your breathing rate to a relaxed level. When you reach the end of the time, your phone screen will turn off to allow you to sleep naturally in the dark.

When it's time to wake, Respiro will give a gentle sunrise, changing from orange through to bright white, ending with an optional alarm to make sure you wake up.

Respiro is the full sleep aid to allow you to feel refreshed the next day.

This application contains personalised advertising. Advertisers can use personalised advertising to build a profile of your behaviour, and show you relevant adverts. If you do not consent to this, do not install the application.
