This is a very helpful app. I have one problem with it. While the 2 minutes setting might have worked for the author, it does not work for me. However, if I change the timings it does not get saved. Every time I launch the app I need to change the timers again. This is a pain. I would love it if the timer settings get saved.

This app is EXCELLENT. Im 2 months post op and wished I had known about this much earlier. It's a must have for pre op life prep. It will be your bff post op when you begin to re learn to eat and chew. This completely stopped my experience with dumping syndrome. Bless you, to its creator. It's user friendly and straight to the point. No extra profile creating and no other extras. just helping you heal, while you eat and chew and rest!!

Really great! Very practical. One thing I would love maybe for a future update is the ability to see the total time for a meal :) I use the app with my partner as a mindful eating practice and we seem to enjoy our food much more this way!

I like this tool. Its user-friendly and you can set the timer for your individual taste. The timer will chime and let you know when to resume eating. Plus, you get the red screen for stop and green to resume. Easy-peasy!

Very good apt really helps you learn how to eat. The only thing stopping me from 5 stars is it would be great if we could set time in 30 second intervals as well.not just in fixed mintues

About this app

This app was born out of necessity. Since I had gastric bypass surgery in July 2017, I've tried a lot of ways to make sure I get as many nutrients as I need. The best way I've personally found is to eat for two minutes, then take a break for two minutes, and repeat this until I can't eat any more. I couldn't find a decent app that could do what I needed, so I decided to make one.

Bariatric Meal Timer plays a short sound effect, vibrates the device briefly, and changes color of on-screen elements, depending on whether it's time to eat or rest. Available intervals for each timer range from thirty seconds, one minute, through five minutes. By default, the timer is set to two minutes.

Features include a themes, the ability to enable or disable sounds and haptics, a night mode, and a summary screen that displays before the timer begins. There are no ads or in-app purchases.

If you love the app and find it useful, please rate it five stars. I will never interrupt your use of the app to ask you to rate it.

New features

This is a pretty small update to comply with updated Google Play policies (and make some additional minor changes).
