About this app

During clinical trials, the drug will be subjected to certain group of humans only. The investigational

brochure or leaflet may be having different reactions, which were already proved in clinical trials. But

when the drug is marketed, different patients might have many chances of showing different adverse

events. So, iCURE is an android mobile application which is used in any smart phone or tablet for

reporting adverse events. This application is simple, easy, reliable and quick.

Full Description

iCURE: Future of Drug Safety.

Pharmacovigilance plays a major impact on public health, reducing patients, increasing quality of life and

decreasing risk factors of the drugs. Under current conditions the Adverse Drug Reactions (ADR) are

reported less than 7%, when compared with actual number of occurred ADR’s. According to an survey

conducted by World Health Organization (WHO), in developed countries (like US, UK, France, Germany

and Australia) it was reported that about 65% of the HCP’s are not interested to report any ADR’s due to

lack of time & facilities and in developing countries this scenario is a lot worse because of weak

reporting systems and health authorities regulations.

In order to cut short the HCP’s and Non HCP’s reporting time, Android mobile application was

developed. This application is easy, quick, reliable and efficient.

iCURE (which is Mobile Adverse Event Reporting System) can be downloaded in any android mobile or a

tablet. This application is user friendly, with only four pages to fill.

Page 1: New complaint, modification of compliant, Status of compliant and suggestions to the company.

Page 2: Patient details.

Page 3: Drug information.

Page 4: Event description and document attachment.

Page 5: suggestions to the company.
The complaint first reaches to the common mail box which is controlled by the iCURE application team

and from there it will be distributed to the individual company folders (like GSK, Pfizer, Ranbaxy and etc,

based on the product manufacture). The complaint will be then distributed to the concerned MAH or

manufacturing company of the country where the drug was manufactured, along with a duplicate copy

to the concerned health authority. The ADR’s once registered in iCURE will have an UIC (unique

identification code), by which the reporter can track the compliant. This iCURE application is a quick and

translucent way of reporting between companies, health authorities and reporters for a better human

survival.
