About this app

ClinTrial Refer supplies a current list of active and pending haematology clinical research trials in Australia and New Zealand. The data comes from each state - locally derived and checked - ensuring that it is current and comprehensive. Designed for haematologists, general practitioners, research unit staff and patients, ClinTrial Refer has searchable clinical research trial details, hospital locations and contacts, and inclusion and exclusion criteria.

Use it to refer patients to trial sites and broaden patient access to clinical research studies. Filter by disease, hospital location, trial status and sponsor. Trial details allow the user to email or call participating trial units for further information and to refer a patient.

ClinTrial Refer is a project of the Haematology Clinical Research Network NSW. This application is available for licence for other locations and indications. Prior to downloading this ClinTrial Refer App (the App), the user agrees, in consideration for, and as a condition to, being able to download the App, that the user releases Haematology Clinical Research Network NSW (the Licensors) in respect of all liability for loss, damage or injury which may be suffered by the user or any other person arising from or in connection with the App; and further the user agrees to indemnify the Licensors in respect of all liability for loss, damage or injury, which may be suffered by or against any person arising from or in connection with that user’s use of App.

App Permissions

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows an application to initiate a phone call without going through the Dialer user interface for the user to confirm the call.

Allows access to the list of accounts in the Accounts Service.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Allows access to the vibrator.
