Simple, minimal app for meditation without the bells and whistles of other apps. Just what I needed. Been using it for months. Thank you for creating and maintaining this wonderful app!

The app is great, without doubt. Nevertheless, I have 3 suggestions to further improve it: 1. There should be an option to keep the screen awake, 2. There should be an optional bell to set at any regular intervals, like at 15 mins or 20 mins or half an hour, and 3. With each passing 5 minutes, the color of one round in the clock should become white. Regards,

I really like this app and believe it has great potential but unfortunately your phone will enter into sleep mode in the middle of the meditation and you lose all function of the app until you wake your phone up. You will not hear the timer go off once your phone goes into sleep mode. I will keep this app installed on my phone in hopes of the future that they can fix the bugs in it.

Very nice app. I have encountered a problem. After my device goes to stand by mode (sleep/the screen turns off) the app forgets give me an alarm sound! It also sleeps! I'm on latest version of android. Do I need to give any permission to keep it awake? Storage permission has been given. Thanks. Lots of metta!

Of all the meditation applications available that I've tried, this is my favorite. It is, in my opinion, the best because it is minimal and practical. Very easy to use and most of all, it seems to have just the right amount of things you need--no less, no more. Peace.

Good app. Does everything it should and simple to use. Nice selection of sounds. I'd add a 3 second pause after starting so users could settle in place.

About this app

Made by meditators for meditators.

During a Vipassana Meditation retreat, I have realized the meditation timer I was using for timing meditation sessions was far too elaborate, distracting and not very reliable. I have therefore developed a simple meditation timer app to run on my phone. The app worked really well, so much that I have decided to upload it on Google Play, thinking other meditators might use it for their daily meditation practice or while on a Silent Vipassana meditation Retreat.

Whether you are an apprentice, a teacher or a seasoned meditator the meditation timer will help you to track meditation sessions without distractions and useless features. The Meditation app will not teach you how to meditate or take you though some guided meditation, the purpose of the app is to track time for insight meditators that have pre-existing meditation skills and know the technique(s).

I will make some extra improvements to the timer, as soon as I will have the time free from meditation and please, get in touch via the meditation app and let me know how we can improve the app. Also, if you want to contribute to the maintenance and development of the app, feel free to buy me a coffee :-)

Cheers everyone and I wish you all a life without suffering.

New features

Bug fixes for users that experience crashes on start up or at the end of session. I am working on more bug fixes that will come live in the next couple of days, please do send me feedback via the app if you have problems with the new version. Happy meditation :-)
