Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Class Messenger on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

Update 2/1. This truly is a fantastic app. They have been putting out some extras that just make this shine. Our teacher hasn't started doing pix but will soon. There's also a wonderful destop login with even more options & features. I would also like to do a shout out for the awesome tech team/support peeps. I was having an issue with reloading and after submitting a help request they contacted me in less than 5 mins and my issue has been resolved. Thank you for this wonderful app.

My preschool uses this as the main communication system. It's easy and I love the different options to do normal messages to even surveys. Parents love it when they can talk to the teacher like me before, during, and after school. Although like other applications it can have its moments, but for me that rare. I highly recommend this coming from preschool teacher of four years.

I was able to use Class Messenger as a communication tool for my preschool class! It is great...the 2 things I do not enjoy are the character limitations and that they do not send texts anymore. Everything else is awesome!!

I downloaded and tried out many of the teacher-parent communication apps out there, including the flashy, high powered ones. I found them too busy although I am tech savvy. The simplicity and ease of use of this app is just great. So smooth and just what I needed. There are many variations in the messaging including survey and volunteer mode, which I just used with my class to arrange chaperoning to a class ball game. Additionally, it is web and mobile based! I don't usually write reviews but I wanted to express my appreciation for this wonderful and convenient app. Thank you for creating Class Messenger!

Not user friendly. Guess this the reason this app has 50k downloads compared to Dojo's 5 million.

About this app

We offer 7 different types of specialized two way messaging critical to the pre-K to 8 classroom:

1. Messages with pictures and documents (Dropbox & Google Drive integration)

Unlike chat products, your messages can be SCHEDULED and automatically REPEATED as needed.

Most important, Intelligent Messaging is built into everything so if you send out a Donation request, it will automatically send follow up reminders to Parents who have not answered you yet...but leave everyone else alone. It's like having your own personal assistant to do your follow up for you.

Teachers and administrators can create a private messaging network just for the Staff of a school along with great tools for organizing Volunteers and Meetings.

- Fixed issue that prevented app from being installed.
- OnTrack is now called OnTrack Live. New features have been added and it's now it's own separate app. If you don't use OnTrack Live already, check it out. It's pretty amazing.
- Your Class Messenger login with work with the new OnTrack Live app and all your info will automatically move over.
- Messages are now only sent to the mobile app or email. SMS messaging options have been removed. See our blog post for details.
