This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Bouldering Twister Spinner on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

Custom colors, hard mode ("release left foot!"), EXTRA hard mode, Dutch Mode (?!), And more cheekiness that only a climber could come up with! ------- as soon as it has: 1. Voice mode 2. Statistics (how long on the wall overall, how many "right hand reds", the would probably need an "end game button". 3. The whole screen shows up the color called. ---then it would be the most perfect app I've ever seen, and I would give 5 stars, only because I can't give 10!--- still sharing on the climbing wall forum​!

About this app

It should work on anything Android, but is not tested on most devices. If the app fails on your device, hit me with an email and I'll try to fix it as soon as possible (usually within 24 hours)

This app is usable as a regular twister spinner (classic mode), but it was specifically designed for vertical matches. Some climbing/bouldering gyms have twister walls set up, in which case a special spinner isn't necessary, but some don't. This shouldn't hold you back! Playing twister on a non-twister wall is perfectly doable, and can be a lot of fun. The problem is, the holds that are close together do not always have the traditional twister colours.
This is where this app comes in! In Custom mode, it's possible to add any colour your holds might have to the rotation. It doesn't have to be 4 either; any combination will work!
The app has a couple of options to make things more difficult in order to spice things up a bit. I'll add more if I think of anything fun; please do send me an email if you've got an idea.

This app was originally meant for private use only. Please forgive the lack of a nicer design; I'll overhaul the look soon, probably. An update not too far from now will bring a fancy spinner animation, because who doesn't like fancy spinner animations?

There is a Dutch mode included in the settings; if you want me to add your language, just hit me with an email.
