After 3 years of using this app I can say that I love it. I definitely see progress (you have to work hard). My favorite things about this app are that you can workout at home and how often you can switch your program if you are getting bored or just want a change. I did BBG, Power, and now have been using Lifting at Home for years. I love the programs and how easy the app is to use. With changing my diet I have lost over 25 pounds since downloading Sweat. I feel stronger and more confident.

The sweat app has definitely helped me change the way I view and approach fitness now. It's made me more accountable and I have definitely seen the physical benefits from staying consistent on the programs. My main issue is that the meal plans are super boring and they're recycled recipes every 5-6 weeks... Wished they were a bit more personalized to your preferred food choices and to keep updating them so it's not recycled.

Once you get the hang of where everything is in the app it's really easy to use. The only this I would want to change is the option to have calories available on the meal plans - I currently don't use them because of this, and it would be great if you could choose to include this info! Otherwise the workouts are great, easy to use. I've been doing the 12-week program, and once I've finished will likely use the 'on demand' workouts before starting another program.

The app's core programs and exercises are well done and motivating. However, for an app of this price and with a seemingly large team behind it, some crucial features are missing: (1) ability to download sessions for offline use, (2) ability to favourite workouts and recipes, (3) ability to use timer with the phone screen off. App users have been asking for these features for years - please add them!

4.5* Def worth the year sub now that they added home based workouts (I've always prefered to workout at home)! There are so many workouts to choose from (beg-adv & dif types). The auto transitions are quick, but you can shut that off in settings. The reason for -1/2 star is that it doesn't link to google calendar (although a notification will pop up on your phone if you scheduled a time for your workout on the app) or fitbit (had to use fitTofit app to link to google health to link to sweat app)

So many great trainers and programs. Tons of customization options and interchangeable exercises aka great for those with injuries/mobility issues/minimal equipment. Zero equipment options up to full gym options. So much great stuff for beginners all the way through to athletes. The best app I've used, and I've tried quite a few!! Love that it has a vegan option for the meal plans. Highly recommend! Love this app!
