About this app

I worked for 15 years in an industry that required a lot of travel, so traditional workouts were not always available to me. I started focusing on body weight exercises to keep myself fit during long stretches of staying in hotel rooms and not being able to transport equipment with me. Fifteen years ago I started training as a hobby with my friends and family, and then soon after decided to make it a full time career. I am currently certified as a PT through NSCA, and I am an HKC kettle bell certified trainer.
The studio began as a Pilates based work space, and I have adopted many of their core values to my training style, most notably the idea of form over frequency. More reps done without correct form are not beneficial to a long term training regimen, and invariably will lead to injury. I train a with a body weight focused system that also incorporates non traditional styles of exercise such as kettlebells, heavy ropes, and Olympic lifting.
