So good! I can't understand the negative reviews. I'm in NZ so the barcode scanner doesn't work but it doesn't take long to add a database of the foods you normally eat. I just used MFP them copied it over. The planner is amazing, you can schedule in refeeds and it adjusts the rest of your week's daily calorie allowance to compensate, this allows flexibility especially if you go over your daily allowance one day. The coach system is intuitive and takes the guess work out. Highly recommend!

Overall great app. I've used food trackers before but the coaching aspect of Carbon lifts it above the competition. Would love to see an "actual" bar next to the plan bar in the planner screen. Would avoid having to scroll through each day to make adjustments to recover for the week. Would make 5stars with this feature. Database can be off... I.e. scanned items sometime subtract fiber from carbs count. Some do not. Need to keep an eye out depending on need/goals.

I have been using the app for 5 week's now and it is okay, but I will more than likely not renew my subscription after my 6 months are up. The barcode scanner isn't too good. The food data base when scanning barcodes is small compared to MFP. You can add your own food in when it doesn't recognize the barcode but it becomes very annoying. It does adjust your calorie intake depending on how you went for the previous week.

I've had this app for a few days. So far it is having me count calories. Entering meals is frustrating. Their calorie look up for meals is quite limited, mostly prepared brand stuff. I make most of my food from scratch. Once I figure out my calories there is no way to store my entire meal. You have to recombine each item. It's a time suck. For this I'm paying$9 a month?

Awesome app. Taught me not to fear the number on the scale as I have a much better idea now of what is going on in my body. As someone who always tried and failed to diet on 1200-1400 calories, I still can't believe I'm losing on 1800 calories per day! I've noticed a few reviews saying it doesn't show your daily micronutrient totals, but it does; you need to click on the little 'info' icon. It pays to explore all areas of the app because there are lots of little hidden features.

First of all, they don't offer a trial. The app isn't worth the money. There are no notifications, nothing. It's just a plain app that tells you what calories to eat. I wish I could get a refund. Other apps that are free do the job much better.
