The App is a pile of junk. I wish I'd read these reviews before buying the Volt EMS, if I had, I'd have a Wahoo because everything works. Try to Bluetooth my Samsung s20, nope, I've "denied permission to scan BLE sensors" without even getting a choice. Phone sees the volt though. Can't get app to connect to trainer so no firmware or spindown. Zwift sees it though. Go figure. Have uninstalled and reinstalled the app way too many times. I don't recommend as the app sours the whole thing.

21/03/2021 - A lot of the reviews commented on pairing with the trainer. I have heard of difficulties with earlier software; however, I experienced no such problems and it has performed how I expected. I have no complaints therefore want to balance out the reviews.

Hi, just a quick update of my review. I finally got the app to connect to my 'volt' trainer. I had to use my old phone to do so. The app still is unusable with my new phone . (Oppo Reno). So a quick tip is if U r having major issues try using another phone or tablet and try again. It is a shame because the trainer is great and works really well with zwift, but U need the app to update firmware and do spin downs..

App is a mess. I can't comnect via Bluetooth with Samsung J6 or Samsung Note9 to perform a calibration. When I connect the trainer with Rouvy is available only ANT plus protocol. After one week of use I still can't connect through this app with trainer in ordee to perform a firmware update or calibration.

Fails to perform spindown. Whole app looks messy, not very visually aesthetic. Can't even use my brand new volt I paid over 1k for. Nice going guys!

Ok. Difficult to see target HR and similar data on a phone screen in all displays. Wahoo is much clearer but doesn't offer the training programs.
