Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Don't grill me! Donate on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

About this app

This app disables WiFi, Bluetooth and Data during a phone call, helping you by
a) not getting your head exposed to unnecessary electromagnetic waves and
b) save battery and keeping your device cooler

For some devices GPS can be switched off too, but this is not working for all devices.
Please don't rate the app bad, this is simply not possible due to general android system reasons.

NEW: On rooted devices mobile data and GPS can be toggled, but this feature is still experimental.
Please contact me via email if it works. As in all my apps ALL root commands are written to the logcat for maximum transparency to the user.

After the phonecall ends the previous state is restored, so that you can comfortably continue browsing the internet, checking your mails, ...

By settings a delay time you can ensure that other apps reacting to the phone call run first (e.g. a remote control app that pauses your music via WiFi).

This is the donate version of the app, which also features a dark design, detects bluetooth headsets (experimental). Thank you for supporting my work!
