About this app

Participate in 3FM Serious Request: The Lifeline and help the Red Cross by walking as many kilometers as possible. Create a ‘loop mee’ action on our website and use this app as a map and tracker for your activities during 3FM Serious Request: The Lifeline. It works very easily. For walking and running, you can use GPS to plot walking and running routes from your location. You determine the distance, the app makes the route. Wherever you start, you also finish. Your route is guided via image and voice navigation.

Via the app you can follow 3FM Serious Request: The Lifeline closely, because there is also a possibility to listen to the radio. In the end, we add up all the kilometers that everyone has walked or jogged/ran, to walk a symbolic trip around the world together.

GPS map
Via GPS, the app plots various walking and running routes for the distance you have chosen, from and back to your location. The routes start and end at the location where you are at that moment. Handy if you want to walk or run in surroundings you are not familiar with or if you are looking fo a new route. You move whilst raising money for the Red Cross. In addition, you can let the 3FM DJs and your friends and family know where you are running and call people to sponsor your running route. That way you can raise even more money for the Red Cross.

About the action
With 3FM Serious Request: The Lifeline 2020, 3FM is taking action this year for the Red Cross: an organization that relieves care providers in the current crisis. In the week before Christmas (from 18 to 24 December), three DJ teams, together with all Dutch citizens, are committed to raising money for the Red Cross. You can help by walking as many kilometers as possible and by getting sponsored.
