Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing iControl Eczema+ on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.
  2. Drag the APK/XAPK file directly into LDPlayer.

About this app

iControl Eczema+ is a simple, patient - friendly tool to assess eczema severity on a daily basis. Eczema, or atopic dermatitis, is a chronic skin condition whose severity can fluctuate. By using iControl Eczema, you and / or your child would be able to assess your eczema on a daily basis and take photos of the affected skin areas. Monitoring your eczema will enable you to know your disease better and manage it more effectively. With iControl Eczema, you will be able to view your daily eczema scores on a graph. You can also set reminders on iControl Eczema+ to remind you to apply your moisturiser. Various eczema guidelines suggest that moisturisers should be the first line and mainstay of eczema treatment. In particular, ceramide-dominant therapeutic moisturisers would be important in repairing the skin barrier. iControl Eczema is based on the Patient Eczema Severity Time [PEST] score. For more information on the PEST score, please refer to Mason JM et al., BMC Dermatol 2013. This version includes loyalty program features.
