This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing CityViewAR on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

CityViewAR is an app that allows you to see the city as it was immediately after the Earthquakes of 2011.

Users will be to see panoramic photos of the city in the days following the earthquakes. The application supports a map view, using your device's GPS functionality to guide you to the locations that the panoramas were taken from, or a list view so you can look at the panoramic photos from anywhere in the world. With a compatible device, the panoramas will rotate as you rotate your device, giving you an immersive experience.
