This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing HI-TEC ACTV on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

App doesn't record sleep pattern correctly. Data recorded on wrong day. No reply from HiTec when emailed re this problem. Forgot password to log into device reset password which wiped two months of data. Can't get app to link to device now as I need a new log in number which the device doesn't show.

Loses information unless you Bluetooth over to app every day. Only shows sleep for that night so you can't compare over the weeks. Would like to see a weight loss graph added to the app.

The app is good but cannot view charts as app hangs on blank screen. No manual only a very basic quick start guide.

I like the device and app although I think it needs an update to fix the Sleep monitor bug (over 50 hours sleep in 1 night!! ) and the other charts need more functions e.g. Steps charts for hourly/weekly/monthly displays to go with the daily chart provided.

Everything works except the info for HR monitor, no data at all. Yet the green sensors pick up my HR and I can get it manually. It's a little frustrating 😕

At first all was good but now resting heart rate is stuck to the 4th of July - perhaps it wanted it's own independence
