About this app

Pipip is an APP that offers the capability to monitor people that need assistance, such as elderly people or disabled people. It is an alarm-based system easy to handle for the clients, since the only action they have to do is touching the screen when the alarm pops up.

The alarm is composed by a special window screen that gradually changes to several colors, loud music and vibration, with the aim to attract the client’s attention.

Once the alarm screen has been touched, the corresponding relatives will receive a notification indicating that the client is OK, along with some additional information, such as phone status, battery status, and GPS location.

This status information is also sent every hour in background (ping), so the relatives can monitor and track the client’s status phone in case of emergency. They also receive a notification when the client has not responded to some consecutive alarms. All these features are configurable from the Pipip administration website: https://pipip.me.

Pipip has two different modes: Client Mode, that is the alarm system for the client’s phone; and Relative Mode, that is the monitoring system for as many relative’s phones as you want.

Follow these instructions to install Pipip in the client’s and relatives’ devices:

1. Refer to https://pipip.me and create an account as main relative.

2. Configure your account and create your client’s profile (with phone number) and as many relatives’ profiles (with phone numbers) as you want. Also configure the alarm times that will pop up in the client’s phone.

3. Install Pipip in the client’s phone, and follow the instructions in the screen. Once configured, Pipip will automatically detect the client profile and will prepare the device to pop up the alarms at the times previously configured.

4. Install Pipip in every relative’s phone, and follow the instructions in the screen. Once configured, Pipip will automatically detect the relative profiles, showing the last status of the corresponding client.
