I bought the $125 sensor and installed the app about a year ago. It worked fine for 3 months, then the app started crashing after Bluetooth connection and session start. The sensor/app combo has repeatedly been slow or refused to connect over Bluetooth the entire year I have owned the sensor. Other Bluetooth devices like headphones and Polar H10 monitor work well with phone. The last update to app renders the sensor useless to me. That is too bad. When it worked, the Inner Balance system was very informative and enlightening. It's time to let it go and not waste anymore time on it. I am giving the sensor to Goodwill today and buying an HRV app to work with the Polar H10 instead.

Great tool! However, the app, itself, can create frustration. 1. There is NO feedback button to tell developers how to improve their app. 2. Need to be able to access the app / session settings WITHOUT having to end the session. (Talk about interruption in coherence!) 3. Using Galaxy S9+, on Android 9; Bluetooth (BT) sensor does not connect, stay connected, nor be stored in phone's BT settings like all other BT devices that connect.

Pretty cool app but it takes a bunch of tries to get my sensor to connect. Plus I don't like that it disconnects every time you hit the stop button. So it takes a bunch of tries to get connected, then I start, decide I wanna change some settings so I stop.... Then it takes a bunch of tries to get it connected again. I've been following HeartMath for a while and love what you do, just offering some (hopefully) constructive criticism of the app.

Constly crashes. Why is this even running in the system at all if I'm not using it? Also every time I run it a directory called 'baidu' appears in the root of the the file system. Some online messages say this is a Trojan. I really expected higher quality from Heart Math Instatute. Makes everything else suspect. Also Bluetooth is temperamental when I have no problem with be any other device. Uninstalled...

I find the app to have some flaws and inconsistencies. If I follow the instructions with my breathing and focus, I'll often dip into the red. Yet if I'm distracted, ruminating, or thinking about something anxiety-inducing, it stays consistently green. Seems random. I wish there was a pause option and an option to adjust settings mid-session. There seems to be an issue with the rewards feature. Overall, I'm not sure I'm feeling any positive changes.

I've been using inner balance for nearly a year now and I find it extremely inconsistent. For instance, if I'm following the breath meter to a T, then why on Earth would it dip into red from a series of green, high coherence? If I'm focused on the breath, why would it suggest I'm not breathing correctly? I am starting to find I have a better practice without the app to be honest and feel less self-conscious about what I'm doing. My breath can't be incorrect when it's deep and consistent.
