I used Gympass only once. The local gym was very reluctant to handle Gympass. My company paid for the monthly starter plan. Then I quit my job. I found that I was charged for the starter plan subscription without any notifications. Update: I talked to Gympass support team. It was a waste of my time. I strongly DO NOT recommend Gympass. I have to wait till the end of the subscription to delete my account . It really sucks.

Love gympass. Great addition for anyone who moves a lot and doesn't want to go through the hassle of trying to find gyms and starting a membership and closing it. It is much better when you're in an urban areas over more rural towns. In addition, try to request gyms in the area if you don't see the gym of your choice and talk to the leadership there to see if they can get added. I had much success with this option too.

It's great when it works but they seem to take their money quicker than they've worked to fix the scheduling issues with gyms. As a dev I get the difficulty in making multiple systems sync up properly but it's been well over four months of people paying for a service that doesn't work with gyms that aren't sure how to handle the situation

This app is clunky beyond all belief. It refuses to recognize my pass level (even with filters) so I'm continually shown gyms and classes that require me to upgrade. The very first gym spent about 20 minutes trying to find me in the system and was unable to find me. The home page continually prompts me to add dependants, but I can't see my husband unless I click like I'm wanting to add a dependant. The calendar doesn't actually change when I filter unless I choose my favorites. :(

The UI of this app is TERRIBLE. How can it be a good idea to change what "Search" means? If I click Search, I want to search, not have you provide some random list of results. The general user experience is absolutely nonsensical - do you even understand what your users are trying to do with your app? And load times are inexcusable, even with cached results. The service behind the app is great, this app is hot trash.

To be clear, gympass is an amazing employee perk. However, like others, I think the app itself has a horrible UI. I'm giving them a star back because at least they added your favorites to the main screen. One of the most frustrating issues is, for some studios, when I book a class, it sends me an email that it's booked, but it doesn't show up in "my bookings" or on Mindbody. Personally, I just wish I could use the Mindbody app and have Gympass there as a "payment method."
