Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing ShefUniHealth on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. This app contains information on all of the clinical services offered by the University Health Service, along with the ability to book your appointments and order repeat prescriptions online*.

Additionally there is information on:
- mental health support
- travel health
- sexual health
- self care
- emergencies
- what to do when you're unwell.

Included is a handy interactive directory of local services, including hospitals, pharmacies and opticians.

If you choose, we can keep you up to date with important health information via push messages: such as information on local outbreaks, vaccination campaigns and more.

*To use online booking and repeat prescriptions you must be issued an EMIS access PIN from the health service.
