PLEASE fix this app! I meditate a couple times a day and like to use this app. However the major issue right now is the screen freezes up every time I select a sound. The sound will play but the screen is dim and never returns to normal so the volume can be adjusted. Also, the sounds will stop playing at random times! Do you know how frustrating it is to be in deep meditation and the beat abruptly stops playing? Aso, please remove opening music! It's good but annoying every time the app opens!

i love this app! i use the relax one all the time. when i need a power nap and my mind is too busy thinking of my to do list. It gets me every time. This is the best isochronic tone app i have found so far. I will give it the fith star when i am able to listen to them while offline! i want to use it while on airplanes. I wish it wasn't removed from the Apple App store either. I can only use it on my android work phone.

I once gave 5 stars but now it works badly! It loads n loads n loads… nothing happens. Then it gets stuck n you have to open it again. Annoying. Uninstalling it! Besides: the awful music inbetween, bombing into your ears!

I use this app almost every day. The Morning Energy and Mood Boost tone really helps me get going in the morning. Excellent selection of tones, and very prompt customer service. I do wish there was an loop option, as some of the tones are shorter than I'd like. It would also be nice if I could download tones, since they can cut in and out if you don't have a great internet connection. Those things aside, I still would strongly recommend this app.

This one has the best selection, but the beats routinely cut out in the middle of the session. I wish the makers of this app could fix that bug. I've had this app for years and it's still a problem that hasn't been fixed. But I will raise my review to 5 stars if it does get fixed.

It sometimes crashes but I love it too much to delete it. I wish the sounds would play longer.

WHAT IS BRAINWAVE ENTRAINMENT?

Brainwave Entrainment is any procedure that causes our brainwave frequencies to synchronize with a periodic stimulus. In the case of waveen~ it is all about sound stimuli by isochronic beats influx on the corresponding frequency to get the intended brain-state. For example, to induce excitement, relaxation, trance, healing, sleep and more.

WHAT ARE ISOCHRONIC AND BINAURAL BEATS?

Isochronic tones are regular beats of a single tone that are used alongside monaural beats and binaural beats in brainwave entrainment. At its simplest level, an isochronic tone is a sound that is being turned on and off rapidly. They create sharp, distinctive pulses.

Your brain has the ability to synchronize its activity frequencies from external sources of sound frequencies. So is now on you to choose which frequencies to hear to get your brain running that frequency.

TIPS AND TRICKS:

OK, so you sit down after a long day of work, possibly stressed out or just plain tired. You pick up your headphones (or turn on your speakers) and open up to an isochronic tone. You're about to hit play but wait, why not take the time to prepare so you can get the best from it?

Here are a few pointers:

1) Try to get rid of as much stress as you can. The best way to do this is by using a relaxation technique to calm yourself down. Deep breathing, meditation and yoga are all great ways to relieve stress and induce a state of relaxed awareness.

2) Make sure the speakers (or headphones) are set at a reasonable volume - if they're too low your brain won't be able to entrain itself, but if they're too loud the session could give you a headache, hurt your ears and cause other unpleasant effects.

3) If you're using headphones, make sure the wire is long enough to reach wherever you are going to stay for the duration of the tone. This only applies if you're using a computer or another non-portable device to listen.

4) Set up a comfortable place to listen - if you are looking to close your eyes and float away from your stress, try sitting on a soft, comfortable couch or lying down in bed. If you are using a tone that entrain the brain to a more active frequency, you don't need to close your eyes or lay down anywhere.

These tips should help when listening/preparing to listen in order to experience everything the particular tone you choose has to offer. Good luck and happy listening!
