The equipment has communication problems, being such an expensive equipment, it does not meet your expectations, I have a Samsung Galaxy S10 + phone, the box sounds when it is time for the medicine but it does not turn on the lights to indicate how many pills I have to take and it does not mark them on the report I have to do it manually

The creators dont seem to have any interest in making the app functional. Basic functions such as changing your schedule cause the app to crash. These have been ongoing issues on the dev side for YEARS despite constant promises that "the next update will fix everything!". I shouldn't have to troubleshoot, Uninstall, reinstall, and delete, and reneter all of my information every 3 days. This app is the backbone of the $100+ device and without fixing the bugs, it makes the hardware useless.

I love my EllieGrid box. I'll admit there are problems keeping the box connected to my phone, but as I dont really need to track that I've taken my pills it doesnt bother me. Once the box is set up in the app with when the alarms need to go off and how many pills need to be taken, it runs very smoothly. Open the box in the alarm window and the top of the box lights up showing you which compartments and how many of each to take. This box is also FSA eligible, which is a bonus.

Very easy & convenient to keep track of meds. The device itself is well built & has plenty of compartments that are large enough to keep half a mth to a month's worth of meds depending on how large your pills are. The compartments come in different sizes as well, which is really convenient. When entering your meds into the app you can customize the name, how many times a day, how many pills ea time, & of course at what time. Freed me from sorting meds each week. Ugh!!!

I absolutely love the concept. My husband bought this due to me undergoing brain surgery 5 days ago. Everytime either one of us gets a notification we need to restart our phone to actually access the app! This would be great if it actually did as intended and made our lives easier, especially for the price he paid. However he is under a great deal of stress, now stressing trying to get the box and app to work as intended. If it would I could manage on my own 😪 Needless to say, disappointed.

I would rate the concept a 5. I love that it is made in the USA and was willing to pay more to support their values- production must have cost a lot more. I like the quality of the unit and would recommend it for the above reasons. However, this is a review of the app. The app needs work. I'd like to see a more intuitive layout. I'm frustrated trying to navigate to where I can see the medicine name and indicate I took it. It just needs to be a succinct, 1 screen med list with TAKEN checkboxes
