Almost good, it's been 10 months since someone mentioned to the developer that a nice feature would be to edit previously entered data points. No improvement there. I guess suggesting the points be plotted on an actual timeline instead of sequencialy is out of the question too. I'll give him until Christmas then I'm uninstalling, a simple Excel spreadsheet is a more feasible Option.

App doesn't save gender, age or height so have to re-enter each time. Worse than that is it doesn't save the imperial/metric setting. Also it seems it's logging the history but it's not obvious. Needs a google log in, save data to google sheets, add birthday for calculated age, and sticky gender and height inputs. Otherwise potentially a good app - it needs to be simple and easy to enter data or it won't get used. Good beta effort, please don't ruin it by adding superfluous features.

Would be nice to be able to change the date and input previous info to track progress.

About this app

Now in Beta, the Navy Body Fat Percentage Calculator app helps you easily plug your body circumference measurements into the formula commonly known as the 'Navy method', long used by the US Navy as part of its fitness readiness test (FRT) and body composition assessment (BCA).

All you need is a tape measure, and the circumference reading of two (or three) sites in your body: your neck and your waist, and also your hips, if you're a woman.

Track your weight and body composition changes in a colorful graph that shows you how your lean mass and fat mass have changed over time.

Give it a try! This is a simple Beta release, but a lot of features are in the pipeline, and with your valuable feedback we can prioritize those features that you want the most.

While not one of the most accurate methods of measuring body fat (it is an estimate, after all) it is in close agreement with sophisticated body composition analysis methods. Check out the Help section of the app for the juicy references to the original research papers!

Please submit crashes and bugs to bug@eclipticum.com before rating poorly! This is an early release. Thanks!

New features

View body composition history over time in graph form. Lines of different colors make it easy to see your progress.
