Simple. Like that it doesn't require calorie input, so I can use it for notes like weight. Only thing that I really wish it had setting a weight range to stay within rather than just a min or max. It would be better if you could get a range, especially considering the need for refeeds. It would be perfect if you added to that the ability to change your goal not so that it affects the whole timeline, but for days after. That way I can track longer term bulk, cut, and recomp.

Just what i was after. Simple calorie tracker each day that was free. Type in what you ate and the estimated calories from the packet. It totals it. Easy. No need for those other complex/recipe apps. As a suggestion, the other 2 tracking metrics i do are weight and waist size. Would be great to add these to the app.

Just wanted something simple to track. Doesn't make you sign up for anything, doesn't ask you a ton of questions. Just put in your goal calories per day, and it tracks it. It saves meals too so you don't have to type everything in everytime if you eat the same things!

great app! it accurately tracks calories and remembers previous food entries in case i eat it again, it comes with a built in calculator, and it doesn't have all the sidetracking fuss that other apps like CalorieKing and MyFitnessPal. plus i can set limits. only downside i see is that i can't search for specific things, but that's easily done on google so it's fine. if i would give any suggestions it would be to add color themes! i don't really like green and having it be pink would be better.

Was looking for something simple without a million options and online hookups. This is great and easy. To get a five star would be if it not just showed how many calories ive eaten but also how many left for the day, and also to alter the name of the items ive saved previously

nice and simple and free. why should people have to pay to be healthy?!! thank you. you set how many calories you want to eat/don't go over. and long in everything you eat throughout the day. it will let you know when your getting closer to the limit.

About this app

Source: https://github.com/doubleblacksoftware/simple-calorie-counter

The Simple Calorie Counter is a simple, but effective way to track the calories you eat and drink throughout the day. If you need a simple counter without all the fluff, advertising, and Facebook integration, try this app.

To use, first open settings and set your daily calorie goal. You can also set whether this goal is a minimum goal or a maximum limit. Then, simply enter the name of the food or drink and the number of calories associated with it. The Simple Calorie Counter will keep track of it for you, and remember your items for easy input later.

There's also a simple widget that displays the number of calories you have left for the day before you reach your limit (or goal).

It doesn't get much simpler than that!
