This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing HealthDataSpace on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

Always carry your medical images (X-ray, CT, MRI, etc.) and medical reports with you and share this vital health information with others, e.g. to get a second opinion. Unreadable patient CDs or lost reports are a thing of the past. Obtain an online second opinion before surgery, conveniently administer the medical images and reports of the whole family or share radiographs protected online with the attending clinic, physiotherapist or doctor abroad. No problem with HealthDataSpace.

Medical data in HealthDataSpace

Patients of all participating radiological institutions receive a HealthDataSpace access code, e.g. printed on the report or the patient CD. This allows you to easily view your medical images and report in HealthDataSpace. To do this, either scan the printed QR code or enter your access code in the HealthDataSpace App. You can manually download your medical data from HealthDataSpace at any time. X-ray images of patientsCDs or digitized documents can be manually uploaded to HealthDataSpace.

Data protection and data safety

All medical data of HealthDataSpace users are encrypted with a public and private key method and stored in data centers in Germany. This ensures that only the patients themselves decide who, how and why they use their medical data. Not even the HealthDataSpace operators can access this data.
