I'd give it 5 stars if it worked more than 3 days. Connecting to Wifi and pairing to my phone was easy. The app worked great. After 3 days the app says the unit is not connected to Wifi. When I check my router for enabled and active devices, the purifier shows up. For some reason, the app doesn't see it or my phone can't find it. I've tried reconnecting several times. The purifier shows up on the router but not in the app. UPDATE. Since the fix, everything has worked perfectly.

I've been using this app for 10 minutes and lots of questionable decisions in this app already. - Why do I need to login to use this app? - Why does my air purifier app not work unless I give it permission to make phone calls? Why does my air purifier need to make phone calls? - Why does my air purifier app not work unless I give it permission to view and edit all of my files? Why does my air purifier need to see all of my files/pictures? - Why does the app have my address immediately upon connecting my air purifier? Probably is reverse geocoded from the GPS coordinates of my air purifier but why? Why does an air purifier need to know where I live? - Why does the app constantly ask for location permissions? Why does an air purifier need to know where I live? - Why does the app open up an Amazon product page upon connecting my air purifier? - When I set up an account with an email and phone number, why can I not log in with email? - Why is it when people point all of these issues out, that Coway just copy-pastes the same response to everyone and don't listen to feedback?

Seriously, I have to log in every time I want to use the app. It's not a banking app, it's not that important, please resolve. UPDATE: You're not paying attention, I know auto login is available, my gripe is that it doesn't work most times... After months, still not fixed. UPDATE: Over a year has gone by since I purchased this, still no fix to auto login. Is this a joke..? DO NOT waste your money...

Needs permission to manage phone calls and media permissions to start the app. Why? Doesn't provide a secure connection when trying to register/login with Google. Dropped out because of security concerns without even starting the app.

Too invasive, both with the permissions and registration. An app to control a relatively simple device should also be simple. Edit: even worse, you can't use Google sign in, because Google doesn't think the app is secure. I didn't want to have to register just to use a fancy fan, and I really don't want to now. I wish there was a third party app for this device.

Terrible app. I even wrote a detailed review on why and the company had Google strike it down. simply said that the app will not connect with the Wi-Fi network as can also be seen from the numerous reviews here. my Wi-Fi network is flawless and operates both frequencies so it includes the 2.4ghz channel required. the problem is likely due to cheap Wi-Fi controllers chosen by Coway. instead of fixing this problem Coway opts for false marketing & censorship of their product in a predatory fashion.
