About this app

The General Pain Management Guided Imagery Program includes three audios. The audios are designed to help you use your mind to reduce and cope with your physical pain. Guided imagery has been utilized to help patients with pain management. There are a number of research studies showing the effectiveness of using one's imagination to relax and to manage pain. These audios can provide you with a self-help tool that you may use as a primary part of your self-care management; either on its own, or in conjunction with other pain management resources. You may want to discuss your use of the audios with your healthcare
provider, so they are aware of the resources you are utilizing.

The three audios include:

General Pain Relief Guided Imagery

Pain Care Guided Affirmations

Healing Imagery for Pain

You can listen to one or more audios each day, as needed to help you manage your pain.
