Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Your Clinic on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

The doctor-patient relationship is one of the most important professional relationships for you and your family. Sometimes you need medical consultation with your doctor, but do not need to be seen at the clinic. That’s why “Your Clinic” and Dr. Jamil Said have developed this app in conjunction with Siha.

The Your Clinic app is your doctor's professional consultation line, so you can access your doctor from wherever you are.

HOW IT WORKS

If you use any chat app, the Your Clinic app should be easy to use for you and your family. With this app, you can chat, send and receive lab results and prescriptions, send photos, and make phone calls with your doctor. This information stays with you in your medical file, so you and your doctor can easily retrieve your patient history.

It is also 'end-to-end encrypted', meaning this information is private and secure, and only stays with the people you decide should have this information, such as your doctor.

PAY WITH M-PESA

Payments are integrated with M-PESA, and we have dramatically simplified the process for you to pay your doctor for consultations over the Your Clinic app.

Because your doctor uses M-PESA for consultation fees, you should have an M-PESA enabled phone to use the Your Clinic app.

24/7 SUPPORT

We have a support team available 24/7 to answer any questions you have about the app. If you don't have a doctor yet, would like your current doctor to use the app, or have any general questions for us, simply go to 'Help' in the app menu, and we're here to help! We support requests in Kiswahili, English, and Somali.
