About this app

Tell Ellie is a feedback app for East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust, to enable patients to interact with the Trust either directly through the app or to be used in partnership with volunteers or nurses to assist patients or service users to provide feedback on their experiences.

A simple process will allow the user to choose their hospital, the ward or service they attended, allowing for feedback and to share further information if they require. The feedback app could be used during a stay, after discharge, at home after using a service, it's based around the needs of the patient and is easy to use.

The feedback will go straight to the Hospital trust and if there is feedback required, this will be highlighted to the Trust's management. This feedback can be actioned quickly, assisting the Trust in patient communications, whilst also allowing the user to further engage with their local NHS trust in receiving further communications from the Hospital that might be of interest to them in the future.

It will give the Trust instant feedback which will also help them to develop services that meet the patients needs and know what they are getting right too.

The messages will be shared through the Tell Ellie website (www.tellellie.nhs.uk).
