Why does a bathroom scale need access your contacts, sms, location, and phone. Shame it had to invade your privacy so they can sell you information to marketers. One time making a profit off the actual product was good enough but not for this company. They need to track you and gather all your personal information. Ok fine, just disable those in the app settings. Guess what the app does not work. Clicking on the sign up link does not work.
