This app is needed to control the siezure link device. App just quits working for no reason and says it disconnected from server. have tried on iOS and android devices and is not reliable. Considering the fact that the whole point of this is to notify you of a life threatening seizure and you have spent 500 dollars plus for the device; the performance of this app is unacceptable at this time. PLEASE ADDRESS THESE ISSUES!!

UPDATE (from 2-12) STILL HAVING CRITICAL issues #1 STILL getting "Out Of Range" errors (phone is 2 feet away from device) #2 STILL getting "SeizureLink Has Stopped" errors (NOT GOOD happens in the middle of the night *my son is no longer being monitored & Get NO Notification! #3 Sometimes the app just stops altogether with no notification #4 It would be VERY helpful, if I at least had the option to get more than ONLY ONE notification with 3 little beeps, when an error occurs & monitoring stops.

About this app

The New Standard in Alerting Systems

The SeizureLink mobile app is designed to work with the SeizureLink Monitor to link Wearers with their Caregivers. The SeizureLink System is designed with one goal: to more accurately and quickly connect you with help.*

The SeizureLink Alerting System is the most accurate and fastest consumer alerting system. The SeizureLink app:
• Connects Wearers with their Caregivers
• Alerts connected Caregivers when a sustained tonic muscle contraction is recognized within 9-12 seconds
• Generates an alarm-triggered phone call to the Caregiver’s and Wearer’s phones
• Automatically captures alerted events in an easy-to-edit seizure diary
• Generates a printable pdf for a customized date range
• Continuously communicates real-time linked status to Caregivers
• Allows a Wearer to link to 10 Caregivers
• Allows a Caregiver to link to 4 Wearers
• Provides location-based event alerts

*The SeizureLink™ System monitors for muscle activation and it is not a medical device, nor is it cleared by the FDA for medical device application. It is not cleared to monitor, treat, diagnose, or prevent a medical condition, nor is it intended for use in the diagnosis of disease or other conditions, or in the cure, mitigation, treatment or prevention of disease. Use of SeizureLink is not a substitute for professional medical advice concerning your condition or medical treatment for you. Please consult your physician or your healthcare provider to ask questions, discuss your condition and the options for you. The System is not a substitute for proper supervision, inspection or observation of the wearer. Always assure the wearer of the System has proper supervision. In order for the SeizureLink unit to alert and connect with wearers, caregivers, and other designated individuals (“Alertees”); Alertees must assure that the SeizureLink unit is charged appropriately, is Bluetooth connected to the wearer’s mobile device, caregiver’s or other designed individual’s mobile device, and is connected to a cellular network. The SeizureLink unit alerts only when the device is properly placed on the biceps muscle and is connected as communicated above and in accordance with the procedures outlined in the SeizureLink User Manual. Alertees should take caution that during a storm, an Act of God, or other events that is outside the control of Brain Sentinel, Alertees should check their connections periodically to assure the connection is established between the SeizureLink unit and their mobile device(s). If the unit is not connected properly, Alertees should not expect the SeizureLink unit to alarm during muscle activation.
