This app has helped our son tremendously! Noah is 11 years old and was diagnosed with ASD when he was 2.5 years old. We started watching these videos with Noah when he was having anxiety. Some days, it made the difference between his being able to walk into school calm and ralaxed and having to be carried in, crying and overwhelmed with anxiety. We recommend this app to all people struggling with crippling anxiety and to parents who have children with ASD or other quality of life challenges.

About this app

Moving Meditations
for Families with children who have been diagnosed with Autism.

- An educational tool to help break away from stress and anxiety.
Follow along with the movements for the maximum effect, or simply watch.
Visual and movement experiences are designed to promote calm and self-regulation.

-The aim is to gently educate the whole nervous system with skills needed for daily living. -

- Developed by researchers at Dartmouth College for use by
children and their families. The app uses innovative methods that
support development of self-regulation and a sense of well-being.

- The app provides access to 18 enjoyable short videos that are designed
to engage kids on the Autism spectrum with special visual and auditory effects.
Users (including parents and teachers) are encouraged notice the subtle shifts
that you feel inside as you watch the videos. Paying attention to the shifts,
supports development of self-regulation skills.

-Movement is the language of emotion. The app uses music, visual effects, and scenes from nature to encourage gentle movements. These visual and movement experiences are designed to promote calm and, over time, support development of self-regulation skills.

- Great for families, classrooms, special needs educators,
homeschoolers and e-learners. Group practice may encourage an
atmosphere conducive to learning.

- The videos were inspired by the research of Dr. Louisa Silva and others, who
have shown the importance of movement in long term nervous system development and health. Although not a substitute for hands on treatment, our videos are designed to activate similar pathways in the nervous system.
