I use this simple widget to keep track of my fasting days and use myfitnesspal to log calories. It's a simple widget but it works perfectly for what I'm looking for. I think alot of people are confused about the difference between a widget and an app and give misinformed reviews as a result. I would highly recommend this.

I think this is what I want. I need to restart my phone to see it installed to my widgets. So at first I thought it won't work. But seems OK. And I do like the simple idea. I will try to follow then. Hope it works for me.

Nice app, simple and easy to use, can't work out how to change the fast and food days from the initial install though, so I might need to uninstall and reinstall to change it.

Alternate day fasting (or 5:2 fasting) is a style of diet to aid weight loss and keep your body healthy. This widget will help remind you which day you are on (Fasting or Eating).

Scientists are uncovering evidence that short periods of fasting, if properly controlled, could achieve a number of health benefits, as well as potentially helping the overweight

You eat normally 5 days a week, then two days a week you eat 500 calories if you are a woman, or 600 calories, if you are a man.

Michael Mosely stuck to this diet for 5 weeks, during which time he lost nearly a stone and my blood markers, like IGF-1, glucose and cholesterol, improved.
