About this app

This is our mobile portal app to GojiVerse – Blue Goji’s gamified wellness platform. Its core mission is to help users with good wellness intentions develop and maintain healthier habits. People with such good intentions often start with gym memberships or home cardio equipment. Developing such habits is a critical first step, but maintaining them becomes a real challenge for most people. Therefore, Blue Goji introduced Goji Play first to gamify cardio workouts. GojiVerse is now ready to gamify other healthy habits and activities, and motivate a diverse group of users.

In addition to supporting and rewarding all Goji Play game sessions, GojiVerse tracks and rewards all Goji*Go activities with GoCoins (short for Goji Coins) and connects friends and family who share similar health and wellness goals and game plays. Users earn GoCoins – our sweat currency – by doing various Goji Play and Goji*Go activities they enjoy doing. Initially, user can use their hard-earned GoCoins for in-game purchases (e.g., unlocking levels or power-ups). Additional incentive rewards will be announced in time to support users’ New Year resolutions.

GojiVerse sports an innovative UI that puts the user at the center of her wellness universe – her MeStar – surrounded by her favorite Goji Play Game Stars (in blue), Goji*Go Activity Stars (in green), Friends and Family Stars (in red), and Goji Incentive and Moments Stars (in grey) circling slowly. Tapping on a Star, a user can quickly view her recent activities of the tapped Star. And both the sizes and locations of these Stars are context-sensitive: they reflect the durations and points in time of her recent activities. For example, after a user finishes playing a set of Goji Play games on a elliptical machine, these corresponding Game Stars will automatically capture the minutes of her exercise and move closer to her MeStar accordingly. If the user stops continuing any prior activities or communicating with friends and family, these Stars will slowly drifts away from the MeStar (until they fall into the invisible layer; these Stars can still be accessed through the menu option). With a quick glance of her GojiVerse, a user can plan her workout smartly.
