About this app

The Bloomfield Morris Canal Greenway Mobile App is a free app that provides education, guidance and health and fitness. Bloomfield has installed way finding signs and kiosks in order to provide education and preservation of the historic canal's 5 mile journey through the township. This mobile app enhances that experience by plotting the way finding signs and kiosks as markers on a map while tracking your position to help you navigate the 5 mile greenway through town. The entire Morris Canal is also plotted so that you can see where the canal used to exist relative to the greenway trail. The app also provides links to photos and additional information based on a specific location. In addition, the mobile app will track steps taken, distance, time and calories burned while walking the greenway trail.

- Changed Bloomfield Recreation to new logo.
- Added Meet me at the Park Logo to map startup. Logo will automatically disappear after 5 seconds.
- Added Important Hyperlinks button to About page that goes to website with additional links.
- Adjusted algorithm maximum walking speed from 8 to 5 when determining if GPS point should be included or ignored.
- OnTrail switch on Fitness page will now allow you manually turn on fitness tracking.
- Website URLs will now use HTTPS
