This is a must purchase app if you have a smart watch! Perfect interval timer. I'm on a fossil gen 5, stick to editing the custom intervals within the wearOS watchface app on your phone. You can do it on the actual watch but it can be kinda clunky.

I bought a Fossil Gen 5 and wanted to use it for my runs without a phone. Loading music and attaching a Bluetooth headset was the easy part. Then I had to install Wear Logger to enable the on-board GPS. But still, I needed a replacement Tabata timer to manage my run/walk cycle. This app is brilliant. I start my music, switch to this watchface, which starts the prep countdown, then start Wear Logger. This runs in the background and beeps through the music at each interval. Update 6/22/20: Latest update makes it even better by allowing 0 reps for indefinite timer loops and sound level as % of watch media volume. Perfect!

Really neat app. Bit of a learning curve but well worth sticking with it. If you have an older Sony Smartwatch 3, you'll need to wait patiently (days!) for the updated WearOS to see it (not the developer's fault, of course). But it does load eventually and then it's great again.

This is my 1st review of an app... TimeWear Plus is by far the best timer app for any type of exercise. I do Not have to have my phone with me on the gym floor, Yaaaa!!!! The developers are Awesome and respond and take into account any questions and suggestions.

Does exactly what I need. I use it on my Moto360 for air pistol practice and matches. Needed multiple presets for different types of exercises. Run this timer for 90 mins (match duration) - no negative impact on my watch battery. I like that I still get all my email and Google Now notifications while running the timer. Would be nice to have an option to change vibration when the timer ends.

Limited to just 3 different intervals

TimeWear Plus Interval Timer 4.2.33
2022-08-12 / 1 MB / Android 2.3+

About this app

An interval timer that you can run on your smartwatch as a watchface. Use your smartwatch as normal (see time of day, receive notifications, send text etc.) while running the interval timer. Get sound and/or vibration notifications on intervals change, so you don't need to look at the watch.

TimeWear AT A GLANCE:
- runs on a smartwatch as a watchface;
- tactile feedback: your watch vibrates when intervals change;
- audio feedback: your watch play sounds when intervals change;
- audio alerts' volume can be set between 0 and 100% of the watch media volume;
- configure preset name, interval names, times and vibration patterns on your phone and save them all on your watch;
- make a quick preset adjustment right on your watch: change interval times, vibration patterns and color;
- customize this timer to your needs - seven types of intervals available: warm up and cool-down, plus up to five repeatable intervals;
- setting number of rounds to zero makes this timer run indefinitely;
- no need to have your watch paired up with your phone to run your timer;
- pause / resume / restart your timer right from your watch;
- each interval is color coded;
- see interval name, interval countdown time, total time remaining and number of rounds on your watch;
- see time of day while running your timer;
- see your heart rate while running your timer;
- choose your color coding for each preset's intervals;
- select your presets right from your watch.

HOW TO USE
- after the timer app is installed, find it in a list of watchfaces under Android Wear app. The timer will be installed on your watch automatically, once it is paired up with your phone. Note that it'll take about 30 seconds for the timer to appear in a watchfaces list; you might need to disconnect and reconnect your watch;
- to run the timer, select it as a watchface from your phone in Android Wear app or right on your watch. The timer will start running as soon as you select it;
- to configure the timer, go to Android Wear app and select 'Settings' for the timer's watchface;
- to make the timer run indefinitely, set the number of rounds to zero. The timer will run a warm up phase and then continuously run up to five intervals. No cool-down phase is available, when number of rounds is zero;
- to configure vibration or sound for each interval, select number of vibration pulses from 1 to 5. To disable vibration for the interval, select number 0;
- to change sound notification volume, use a slider bar under Sound Alert option, when Sound Alert is enabled;
- to hear sound notifications, a bluetooth headset needs to be pair up with a watch;
- once you save timer's preset, it will be sent to your watch and you can start using it. No need to have the phone paired up after that, so you can leave your phone behind, when going to a gym;
- to pause / resume the timer, tap your finger in the middle of your watch's screen;
- to enter a configuration menu triple tap on your watch's screen. In that menu you will be able to restart the timer, select a different preset or edit current preset;
- to temporarily disable timer vibration, select 'Mute' in your watch configuration;
- to see heart rate, enable it in your watch configuration; enable sensors permission on your watch; heart rate is read once every 30 seconds; if the watch is removed off your hand, heart rate sensor will turn off after about 30 seconds, but will continue turning on/off every 60 seconds;
- to uninstall the timer, go to the App manager and uninstall it from there. This app will not show in the list of apps, as it is implemented as a watchface.

COMPATIBILITY
This app works on any device running Wear OS. It was thoroughly tested on the Moto360, Samsung Gear Live and Fossil Gen 5 smart watches paired up with the Samsung Galaxy S4, Galaxy S7, Moto G phones and Nexus 10 tablet.
