I paid the little bit of money to get the paid version of the app. The timer and pacing are good for me, keeps me going even though I haven't progressed from level 1. I also use the ROM Coach app for musculoskeletal imbalances that I have discovered while running. I'm a long way off from running a marathon, but at least I'm enjoying the journey:)

I do like the app but when it stopped the free trial and required a payment - which I did - it to me back to day one and now I've had to try and figure out what my run routine should be for the rest of level one. It would be good if you could pick the day on each level that you want to run. If you're sore or you've been sick, you would be able to go back a couple of days.

Nice and simple with no bells and whistles that get in the way of the features you need, but it hardly ever tracks my workout correctly. I'm about 3 weeks in and it almost consistently tells me I've traveled about 1 mile less, and burned about 150 calories less, than my Fitbit reports. My BF and son have come on routes with their own smart watches (one Fitbit, one not), and mine is the only one reporting this. So it's not like it's the Fitbit overreporting. I do also turn on high-accuracy GPS.

Just did the #1. I wish it had a way to be able to skip the walk and run for some of the walking stents. Literally go from doing nothing at all and start doing this. Make a way to connect with friends and "track" each other. It'll help with motivation, I think. I've hated running for years. It's always been my bane. But, after #1, I wanted to jump right into #2 because I actually enjoyed it! Cant wait to see where this leads me! Gave an option to pay what I wanted. 2 bucks?! That's awesome!

best running app i could find due to its simplicity. I was looking for an app that tracks my runs and provides an automatic stopwatch at 1 minute intervals and thats exactly what it does. However, even at level 1 it progresses way too rapidly. I'm still a beginner (I can run about 30 minutes worth but can't run more than 2 minutes straight ) yet it jumps me to 2 then 3 then 4...minutes straight. What human, after 1 or 2 weeks can just magically double their consecutive run time. It's crazy.

The running program is simplistic but effective if you are dedicated. Paying for the full version is really not worth it unless they expand the features. I would love to be able to see more of the data gathered so you can track progress, speed and distance. A way to visualize the different time/distance spent running and walking would be very helpful as well.
